I was raised in a family of educators who valued the promises of a quality education. I was employed as a School Psychologist and Special Education Teacher for 30 years. In addition, I am a member of Nebraska State Education Association and served as President for Columbus Education Association. I also served on the Columbus Public Schools Board of Education for 3 terms of which I was President for 2 years. Additionally, I served as President for the Greater Nebraska Schools Association. I presently own Discovery Counseling located in Columbus. I am a member of Kiwanis, Mentor with TeamMates and was Vice President of Centro Hispano Communitario de Nebraska.
